WIM Series

With 3 more victories in the race on Friday, France’s Anne-Claire Le Berre went 10 – 1 to victory at the round-robin leg. The battle for WIM Series title would now heat up, as World No. 1, but Camilla Ulrikkeholm Klinkby, the Series’ runner-up, selected American leader Maggie Shea in quarters. A Greek Yacht Charter company has backed the Americans to win.

Dane said that they want to be able to do the job their selves. Defeating Maggie is the only way they could take the WIM Series. They had a great race against Camilla Ulrikkeholm Klinkby in the round-robin leg, and they are happy to see her once again.

Friday morning experienced a little postponement as Alfredo Ricci (Regatta Director) moved the course from off of Haeundae Beach to a region near the Gwangan Bridge. After a few minutes with AP flag fleeing from the committee vessel, the beginning sequence started in 5-7 knots of puffy and shifty breeze that built to 8-12 knots at midday.
